SEGREGATION BY DESIGN
The Segregation by Design campaign is focused on understanding, analyzing, and bringing to light the impact of American government policies that have shaped our communities today. Namely, restrictive housing policies from 1938 that created physical boundaries and locked people into areas of unequal opportunity based on their race. The impact of this intentional oppression by the government is still persistent today, affecting every aspect of life for families of color in America.
